Jianqiao Industrial Park reported on November 8 that Changzheng Heavy Industry has produced the city's first batch of X70 flatcars, which are also China's latest generation of container-specific flatcars.
It is understood that the X70 flatcar is used to transport containers on railways, with a speed of up to 120 kilometers per hour, and a single car can carry one 40-foot container or two 20-foot containers. Compared with the previous generation of N17 flatcars, its single-car load capacity has increased from 60 tons to 70 tons; it uses high-strength lightweight materials, reducing the weight of the car body, and improving high-speed stability.
The head of the Changzheng Heavy Industry Technology Research Center introduced that the X70 flatcar has officially entered the mass production stage, and has currently signed an order agreement for 900 vehicles with China Railway Corporation.
