To solemnly commemorate the 97th anniversary of the May 4th Movement and the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, on the afternoon of May 4th, the Changzheng Heavy Industry Youth League Committee held the 2015 annual commendation meeting for advanced units and individuals within the league and the 2016 May 4th "Changzheng Youth Knowledge Quiz Competition" in the third-floor meeting room of the theater. Nearly 50 people attended the meeting, including Liu Jun, the company's Party Committee Secretary and chairman of the trade union; relevant Party branch secretaries; youth league cadres; representatives of the commended advanced collectives, outstanding individuals, and league members. The meeting was presided over by Cao Fengmei, deputy secretary of the company's Youth League Committee.
On behalf of the company, Liu Jun extended festival greetings to the youth league members and congratulated the award-winning advanced collectives and outstanding individuals. She fully affirmed the contributions made by the youth league members to the company's production and operation, and put forward requirements in three aspects: strengthening youth ideological education, strengthening the youth league cadre team, and striving to build a platform for youth growth. She encouraged everyone to give full play to the role of the youth organization as a vanguard and shock force with a pragmatic, innovative, and enterprising spirit.
The meeting showed a video report on the work of the company's Youth League Committee in 2015, summarizing and reviewing the work of the Youth League Committee in 2015, and putting forward the main work directions for 2016. The meeting commended the 2015 "May 4th Red Flag Youth League Branch", "Youth Civilization Post", "Outstanding Youth League Cadres", and "Outstanding Youth League Members". Liu Yan, secretary of the cast steel youth league branch, a representative of the "May 4th Red Flag Youth League Branch" award winners, gave a speech.
In the subsequent "Changzheng Youth Knowledge Quiz Competition", seven teams from secondary units engaged in a wonderful and intense competition. The quiz content included Party history, Party Constitution, Youth League history, Youth League Constitution, the "Code" and "Regulations", the company's corporate culture, and the spirit of the employee representative conference. After two rounds of competition, the quality assurance youth league branch won first place, the marketing youth league branch won second place, and the cast steel youth league branch won third place.
