To grandly celebrate the 106th International Women's Day, and to summarize and commend the advanced collectives and individuals who emerged in the 2015 "Women's Contribution to National Construction and Career Development Competition," the Changzheng Heavy Industry Trade Union held a summary commendation meeting for the 2015 "Women's Contribution to National Construction and Career Development" on the afternoon of March 7. Nearly 90 people attended the meeting, including representatives of advanced collectives and individuals in the company's 2015 Women's Contribution to National Construction and Career Development, female middle-level cadres, female branch union chairpersons, and female workers' committee members.
The meeting summarized the women's work in 2015 and made arrangements for the work in 2016. Liu Jun, the company's Party Committee Secretary and chairman of the trade union, delivered an important speech at the commendation meeting. Chairman Liu first extended festival greetings on behalf of the company's party, government, and trade union to all female compatriots and extended heartfelt congratulations to the award-winning advanced collectives and individuals. She affirmed the positive contributions made by female employees to the company's development and put forward three points of hope and requirements for female employees: First, to establish sufficient self-confidence; second, to continuously strengthen learning and comprehensively improve their own qualities; and third, to work solidly and actively contribute wisdom and strength to the company's development.
The meeting also grandly commended the 2015 "Women's Contribution to National Construction and Career Development" demonstration posts, pacesetters, advanced individuals, excellent organizing units of the "Five Ones" activity, and the "Women's Civilization Post" of the Chongqing Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission system.
After the commendation meeting, the company's trade union also organized a tug-of-war competition for female employees, with 11 teams from 17 branch trade unions participating. The atmosphere on the scene was enthusiastic.
