Highlighting political standards, adhering to a problem-oriented approach, and promoting rectification and implementation - The Party Inspection Team of the China Shipbuilding Chongqing Changzheng Party Committee conducts inspections of Party branches

Following the arrangements of the Chongqing Changzheng Party Committee of China Shipbuilding, a Party inspection team was recently established by the Chongqing Changzheng Party Committee to conduct internal inspections of the Precision Casting Party branch and the Mechanical Manufacturing Party branch.

On November 10, the Precision Casting Party branch and the Mechanical Manufacturing Party branch of China Shipbuilding Chongqing Changzheng respectively held mobilization meetings for the Chongqing Changzheng Party Committee's inspection team to inspect their respective branches. At the meeting, Luo Yaoyi, the head of the inspection team, briefed the main tasks, work arrangements, and specific requirements of this inspection. Wang Tao, member of the Party committee, chairman of the supervisory board, and chairman of the trade union; and Zhang Maoguang, member of the Party committee and deputy general manager, respectively delivered mobilization speeches on behalf of the company's Party committee inspection work leading group. Members of the inspection team, members of the Precision Casting Party branch and the Mechanism Party branch leadership teams, some Party members, and employee representatives attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the secretary of the Party branch being inspected.

Wang Tao and Zhang Maoguang pointed out in their speeches that inspection is the political supervision of the superior Party organization over the subordinate Party organization. Inspection work must clearly advocate politics, prioritize the Party's political construction, highlight political standards in inspection and supervision, strictly enforce political discipline and rules, and strengthen the role of political supervision. They emphasized that to do a good job in this inspection, we must resolutely take "Two Upholdings" as the fundamental political task, use "Four Consciousnesses" as the political benchmark, and thoroughly check the implementation of the Party's theories, lines, principles, and policies, as well as the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee, the Party group of the Group Company, and the company's Party committee by the inspected Party branches; the implementation of various requirements for comprehensively and strictly governing the Party; the implementation of the Party's organizational line in the new era; and the rectification of problems found in inspections, audits, and other supervisory checks, and problems reviewed in the "不忘初心、牢记使命" themed education, strengthen supervision over compliance with discipline, implementation of systems, and the exercise of power, identify problems, urge rectification, provide strong support for comprehensively and strictly governing the Party and comprehensively deepening reforms, and provide political guarantees for completing the tasks deployed by the company's Party committee.

This inspection adopts a " one-to-two " approach, namely: One inspection team simultaneously inspects two Party branches. The work will be carried out through listening to the work reports of the inspected Party branches, individual conversations with Party members, cadres, and employees of the inspected Party branches, conducting questionnaire surveys, accepting letters, calls, and visits reflecting problems of Party members and cadres of the inspected Party branches, and reviewing and copying relevant documents, archives, and meeting minutes.

     The inspection team emphasized , that the inspection of all 18 Party branches must be completed by the end of 2022. Given the tight schedule and heavy workload, the inspected Party branches must deepen their understanding, effectively raise their political standing, regard accepting inspection supervision as an important opportunity for "political physical examination" and self-improvement, as a powerful measure to identify problems, improve shortcomings, and enhance management, fully support and cooperate with the inspection work, encourage cadres and the masses to truthfully reflect problems to the inspection team, create a good atmosphere for supervision, and ensure the smooth progress of the inspection work.

     Chen Sheng'an, secretary of the Precision Casting Party branch, and Li Hongyang, secretary of the Mechanical Manufacturing Party branch, stated that they would treat the inspection work with a high sense of political responsibility, resolutely implement the deployment requirements of the company's Party committee's inspection work, actively and proactively cooperate with the inspection team, carry out the work forcefully, orderly, and effectively, resolutely acknowledge the problems found in the inspection, actively promote rectification and implementation, and comprehensively promote the various management work of their units.
