Recently, Chongqing Changzheng Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, held a 2019-2020 QC group achievement release meeting. Annual QC Company leaders, quality work heads and quality control personnel from various secondary units, the Youth League secretary and branch secretaries, and QC group members attended the meeting.
A total of 114 people participated in the 14 QC achievements released this time. After the release, Wen Jianbo, secretary of the company's Party committee and chairman of the board, delivered a summary speech, affirming achievements and pointing out shortcomings. Wen Jianbo put forward three opinions around promoting the company's transformation, upgrading, and high-quality development. First, vigorously support QC group activities. “Do not consider good deeds too small to be done,” we should discover, cultivate, and train talents in the process of activities. Second, vigorously promote QC group activities are one of the foundations for implementing lean management. We should carry out QC activities with the "three precision" standards, using meticulous work style and attitude to find problems, using precise methods to find the root cause, and using lean thinking to solve problems and evaluate efficiency. Third, the development of QC group activities should maintain the idea of a "unified chessboard" with the company's high-quality development strategy. The achievements of QC activities should be reflected in financial costs, product quality, and work efficiency, ultimately achieving the goal of improving the company's core competitiveness.
Deputy General Manager Zhou Xiangdong respectively talked about the company's 2019 Annual QC group activity situation and this QC achievement release, putting forward opinions and suggestions. He demanded that this year, the focus of QC activities should be placed on education and training, especially training on the use of statistical and analytical tools; we should recognize the severe situation facing current product quality and costs, actively create a cultural atmosphere of all-staff participation and proactive self-improvement, continuously strengthen lean quality management thinking, improve the quality awareness of all staff, and firmly establish the concept of "quality first." He pointed out that the company's positioning this year is the "Lean Start Year," and building an enterprise culture and organizational structure management system guided by people-oriented lean values is of paramount importance.
