From February 27 to March 1, the AAR (Association of American Railroads) audit team conducted a re-evaluation (i.e., recertification audit) of the AAR quality system at Chongqing Changzheng Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. Chongqing Changzheng successfully passed the re-evaluation.
The audit reviewed the operation of the company's quality management system for traction beams and bogie products, examining contract review, material procurement, technical document management, equipment management, production process control, external document management, special process control, measurement equipment management, inspection and test control, management review, internal audit and training, etc. The audit team concluded that Chongqing Changzheng's quality management system is operating normally, and its quality commitment is consistent with its business policy, recommending recertification registration.
The audit team also pointed out problems in document management, process control, preventive measures, and bilingualization. Chongqing Changzheng will strictly follow AAR requirements to complete the rectification of nonconformities and observations. (Zeng Youwen)
