On October 20, the games were grandly held at the Chongqing Changzheng School Stadium. More than 800 cadres and employees of the company participated in the fitness games. The flag-raising team and ten representative teams marched forward with their heads held high, their steps in unison, and their loud slogans echoed over the Funiuxi River, fully demonstrating the spirit of unity, progress, and courage of the Changzheng people.
Wen Jianbo, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Chongqing Changzheng, delivered an opening speech for the games. At the opening ceremony, 640 cadres and employees performed a vibrant collective fitness exercise, demonstrating the positive, healthy, and united spirit of the Changzheng people.
The fitness games were divided into group fitness exercises, track and field events, and fun sports. Ten teams from various units of the company participated in the group fitness exercises, followed by short-distance running, middle and long-distance running, relay races, long jump, shot put and other competitive events. Members of the company's Party Committee participated in the fun sports, working together with employees in team cooperation and competition, bringing the games to a climax. On the sports field, everyone chased each other, encouraging each other, and cheers echoed continuously.
After a day of intense competition, the teams from the Rail Transit Division, Quality Assurance Department, and Steel Casting Manufacturing Division won the top three places in the overall team score. The games fully demonstrated the optimistic attitude of the Changzheng people towards vigorous progress and national fitness, as well as the corporate culture of unity, struggle, and harmony. The sense of achievement, happiness, and belonging of the employees has been further enhanced, and the games have been a complete success.
